Fakhro Transport BSC(c) was established in 1981 with the aim of providing car rental services to the highest international standards under a Budget Rent-A-Car franchise.

Other services were soon added, and presently include :

• Short and medium-term vehicle hire to corporate accounts
• Leasing of cars to individuals and corporations
• Chauffeur services within Bahrain and to and from Saudi Arabia
• Worldwide reservation through Budget Rent-A-Car's computerised international reservation system
• Sale of high-quality used vehicles

Fakhro Transport's fleet of approximately 2,000 cars is by far one of the largest vehicle rental fleets in Bahrain, and independent market research has consistently rated Budget-Rent-A-Car Bahrain as the country's pre-eminent car rental agency.

Budget Rent-A-Car currently operates from 4 locations :

• Main Office at Bahrain Commercial Complex in Manama
• Airport Office at Bahrain International Airport
• Seef Office at Al Moayyed Tower
• Sitra Office on GCC Highway

The Company achieved ISO 9002 certification in the year 2000.
