The Fakhro Restaurant Company recently announced the opening of its twelveth McDonald's restaurant in Bahrain. As the owner of the McDonald's franchise in Bahrain, the Fakhro Restaurant Company has developed a commanding position in the country's fast food market.

The Company opened its first McDonald's restaurant in 1994 into a market that already had a number of established competitors. The quality of our food, the great customer service, the strength of the McDonald's brand, and our constant drive to maintain cleanliness gave us an instant competitive advantage. Today, McDonald's has a 57% share of the Bahrain fast food market and the data suggests that there is still room for further growth both by winning over the hearts (and stomachs) of additional Bahraini fast food goers and by capitalizing on the expected increase in tourism in Bahrain over the coming years.
