Over the past two years the Abdulla Yousif Fakhro Group has formed two new technology companies. Access, based in Bahrain, and ATCOM, based in Dubai, have together allowed the Group to further solidify itself as a leading player in the Gulf technology industry.

ATCOM today is a young operation in the UAE market with 20 employees working out of its two offices. The company functions largely independently but works closely with Fakhro Communications in Bahrain due to the large overlap in the products that the two companies sell in the Bahrain and UAE markets.

Access too functions largely independently and has an independent office near Oracle’s main Bahrain office in the prestigious Bahrain Islamic Bank tower located in the Diplomatic Area in Bahrain.

Access’ high tech services include agency representation of some large telecommunications companies, telecommunications value added products and services, Internet related services and consultancy services, while ATCOM is focused on providing leading-edge enterprise communication solutions in the UAE market.

Going forward, both companies aim to further penetrate into their respective markets by continuing to stay one step ahead.
